Circa 2014: "The world is nuts for this hazelnut spread". Welcome to Espresso 22 (my local favorite) where the Nutella Latte lives on. Dustin Sun, the owner of the cafe, first introduced the drink when I was a junior in high school as a monthly special. After about 30 days, the Nutella Latte was such a big hit, it has been around for over two years.

A tip upon arriving to the shop: Be wary of parking, as the coffee shop is a transformed victorian house. Don't let this turn you away; the coffee is worth parking across the street (if that is a last resort). With a modern, chic and creative atmosphere, the array of simple syrups allow for customers to make their cup of coffee personalized. If this freedom is too frightening, do not worry - the extensive list and helpful baristas are happy to assist you. The knowledge behind the counter is impressive and the smiles are contagious.

The latte itself, covers the tastebuds with an initial coffee flavor that transitions to sweet, nutty goodness. It is not a cup too heavy that will get old quickly - don't be afraid to order the largest size available. The latte is the perfect blend between rich and balanced and finishes so smoothly. You will not be dissatisfied.
